The Subharti Animation Fest 2024, held on October 22nd and 23rd, was a two-day extravaganza celebrating the creativity and artistic achievements of students from the Department of Animation. Spearheaded by Principal Prof. Dr. Pintu Mishra and Dr. Vidhi Khandelwal, Head of the Animation Department, the festival brought together students, faculty, and esteemed guests for a memorable celebration of talent.
The inauguration ceremony was marked by the presence of distinguished guests, including Retd. Maj. Gen. Dr. G. K. Thapliyal (Vice-Chancellor, Subharti University), Col. Rajesh Tyagi (Director, Subharti Defence Academy), Dr. Abhay Shankar (Dean & Principal, Naturopathy and Yogic Science), Mr. Ravi Gupta (CEO of Frameboxx 2.0) and Mr. Ankit Choudhary (South Ex BP - Frameboxx 2.0). Their participation made the event more special.
The fest featured captivating performances by groups such as Rising Stars, Dynamic Fusion, Quad Squad, and Hasi Ki Toli, showcasing a mix of dynamic dance, music, and comedy. A major highlight was the launch of the second edition of Exuberance, the department’s student catalogue, which displayed the innovative work of young animators.
Adding to the festive spirit, student-run food and gaming stalls were a huge hit, with Retro Lounge and Burj Biryani serving delicious treats. The event was further energized by the lively anchoring of Ms. Manisha Chaudhary and Mr. Sagar Chauhan.
XP-Pen sponsored awards recognizing student excellence. In a nuthsell, it was flawless organization, with outstanding performances and vibrant atmosphere. As the event concluded, attendees were left with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the future of Animation at Subharti University.
