Toonpur Ka Superrhero Director and 5 time President's National award-winning film-maker Kireet Khurana, has come on board with leading Animation & Visual Effects training studios Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects in the capacity of Chief Creative Officer. This was announced today at a seminar organized for students, where Kireet shared some of the exciting developments that he’s planned for students in the days and weeks to come.  At Frameboxx, Kireet will work towards making the curriculum and training methodology more production centric and would be working closely with the students, sharing his vast wealth of knowledge and experience.

A graduate of the prestigious Sheridan College, Canada, Kireet has helmed several internationally acclaimed animation productions and was recently seen at the helm of ‘Toonpur ka Superhero’. He’s ready to take reins of yet another grand animation feature shortly.

Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects was started in late 2007 by a band of techno-evangelists with over a decade of experience in the animation production and training business.  With state of the art training centres spanning the nation, Frameboxx has pioneered skills specialization courses and has always led the pack as innovators. This appointment marks a significant development towards industry-academia empowerment.

Speaking on the occasion, an excited Naveen Gupta, CEO & ED, Frameboxx remarked, “Frameboxx has led by example and over the past 4 and a half years, we’ve redefined innovation in the training business by unique offerings such as specialization courses, talent incubation centres and curriculum tie-ups with world renowned experts. Kireet Khurana is the epitome of Animation prowess and capability that is unique in India and by this appointment we’re bringing him closer to students and animation aspirants like never before. This is a fantastic opportunity for students and we welcome him on board.”

An equally enthusiastic Kireet Khurana, CCO, Frameboxx said, “Well, it feels amazing and it’s big opportunity for me to be a part of Frameboxx. I personally was privileged to study at Sheridan College of Canada, which is one of the renowned Animation Colleges of the world & with experiences gained at Sheridan College, my vision for Frameboxx would be to push the Animation and VFX curriculum level and set higher possible education standards. As the CCO of Frameboxx, I aim to work with instructors and the team to produce creative thinkers. I would want the students of Frameboxx to lead innovation and create great original content.”

This association is indeed great news for students and aspirants of Animation & Film making in India as it is aimed at bridging the gap between training and production.
